Daniel Siad, a French model recruiter known for facilitating introductions between numerous young women and Jeffrey Epstein, has been found dead.
Siad was discovered lifeless in his residence near Paris on Monday, according to a statement from a deputy public prosecutor at the Nanterre Judicial Court in France. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown.
For over a decade, Siad and Epstein maintained a friendship and business partnership. Siad openly acknowledged that he facilitated meetings between Epstein and several female models.
Despite Epstein’s 2008 conviction for sex crimes, Siad continued his association with him. Siad claimed that Epstein assured him he had transformed into a better person. He mistakenly believed Epstein had secured a position as a casting director for Victoria’s Secret and a leading modeling agency.
In an interview with CNN, Siad expressed, “I trusted him and believed he was a professional individual. I never received any negative feedback from anyone I introduced to him regarding their experiences.”
Two women who allege that Siad introduced them to Epstein have reported instances of abuse by Epstein.
Siad’s name is mentioned over 2,000 times in the Epstein Files. He sent numerous emails that included photographs of potential models who could work as Epstein’s assistants, including one individual Epstein dismissed as “Too old.”
Before his death, Siad was dealing with his own legal troubles, which included a rape allegation dating back to 1990.
