Sony’s Desktop Speakers Now Available for Pre-order Starting September 1.
Sony is preparing to launch its Pulse Elevate desktop gaming speakers, nearly a year after their initial announcement. These highly anticipated speakers will begin shipping on November 12, priced at $220. Pre-orders will be available starting September 1 through PlayStation Direct and selected third-party retailers. Customers can choose between two color options: white and Midnight (black), designed to complement other PlayStation accessories.

These speakers feature advanced planar magnetic drivers, which, according to Sony, deliver sound with remarkable accuracy across the entire audible spectrum. This technology ensures that you experience games precisely as their developers intended. the Pulse Elevate speakers are equipped with woofers and a built-in microphone capable of reducing background noise. They also support Tempest 3D AudioTech for immersive spatial audio and offer low-latency PlayStation Link connectivity. A PlayStation Link USB-C adaptor is included with the purchase.
To connecting with a PS5, PlayStation Portal, PC, or Mac, the Pulse Elevate speakers can function as Bluetooth speakers, offering multipoint pairing support. Users can customize presets and other settings through their PS5 or PC. The speakers also have a tiltable design for optimal sound placement. Sony has yet to disclose the complete technical specifications for the Pulse Elevate or the battery life, except to mention that they provide audio playback for “hours.”
