Kiely Williams’ Sister Expresses Strong Opinions on Reboot
In the wake of the reboot announcement, a user on X shared their thoughts, declaring Kiely Williams an “underrated superstar” from both 3LW and ‘The Cheetah Girls.’ They suggested that the behind-the-scenes conflicts during those years were likely “awful” enough to prevent her from returning. Kiely’s sister responded with a scathing comment, stating, “Raven and Adrienne are truly hateful b*s. They also exhibit two-faced behavior and lie. Sabrina will always be a ‘pick me.’ Kiely has been the easy target for villainization since the 3LW days, which brings us to this moment. I believe in karma. They will get what they deserve; they’ve earned it.”
Her remarks quickly spread across social media, prompting fans to revisit the group’s history and react to these surprising statements. As of this writing, neither Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, nor Sabrina Bryan have publicly addressed the allegations.
Fans React in the Comments Section
Fans flocked to The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section, unleashing a flurry of opinions following the news. Some argued that Kiely deserved a role in the reboot, while others brought humor, transforming the comments into a source of entertainment. A few even joked about her being excluded from ‘Bad and Boujee,’ which had everyone laughing.
One user, @b.arbielai, remarked, “From what we’ve heard, your sister was the problem in BOTH groups! 🥴
Another user, @tnhayes22, quipped, “They made no ‘promethis’ that she’d be in the reboot.
Instagram user @mresq added, “Sounds like Kiely and her sister are facing the consequences of how they treated Naturi…but I digress.
Meanwhile, user @chellereneej remarked, “Maybe because your sister mentioned she slept with 3/4 of B2K publicly. IDK
In another comment, user @_pettyking stated, “Kiely should’ve been part of the Cheetah Girls reboot. Point, Blank, Period.
User @unfriendlybaddiie commented, “Not her being upset because Kiely was left off Bad and Boujee 😂
What Led to These Strong Reactions?
The Shade Room ignited a frenzy among fans by sharing the first official teaser for ‘The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen.’ Raven-Symoné confirmed the long-awaited sequel in an Instagram video, showcasing herself strutting to ‘Strut’ from ‘The Cheetah Girls 2.’ She captioned the post, “🐆 It’s happening, and it’s CHEETAHLISHIOUS!” The clip included on-screen text that read, “POV: strutting to the set of The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen,” immediately sending fans into investigative mode regarding the cast.
While Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan, Lynn Whitfield, and Lori Alter are confirmed to return, Kiely Williams is noticeably absent from the cast announcement—a detail that quickly became the focal point of discussions in the comments. The upcoming film follows Galleria and Chanel as they travel to Africa with Galleria’s daughter and her three friends, where they volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary and discover the true Cheetah spirit along the way.
