A grandfather experienced an unexpected encounter with wildlife that he likely did not anticipate. A massive bison sent him flying in a shocking video that has gone viral.
The dramatic incident occurred on a Friday evening at Yellowstone National Park. Mike MacLeod, a seasoned professional photographer, was capturing footage of a bison exhibiting unusual behavior as it rolled in the dirt. At that moment, an older man with a white beard and a younger companion walked by, taking pictures of the scene.
A tourist suffered serious injuries on Friday evening after being launched 8 feet into the air by a bull bison in Yellowstone National Park. The National Park Service advises visitors to maintain a distance of at least 75 feet from bison and elk. It seems that the individuals involved were adhering to this guideline. Mike emphasized that they were not being disrespectful; they were merely capturing a quick photo or video just like he was.
Something about their presence seemed to provoke this particular bison, leading it to chase after them.

The video abruptly ends at this point. MacLeod stated that he, along with several others, rushed to scare the bison away and called 911 for assistance.
The man who was flipped over was a grandfather, accompanied by his grandson, and he reportedly sustained serious injuries from the encounter.
