Mitch McConnell Stretcher Incident Captured in New Video

Mitch McConnell was captured on video being loaded onto a stretcher and placed into an ambulance after emergency services were called to his Washington, DC residence in response to a report of an unconscious individual.

The video footage, obtained by CNN from a neighbor, depicts emergency personnel as they carefully transported the Kentucky senator from his home and into the ambulance.

In the concluding moments of the video, a bare foot is seen protruding from beneath what seems to be a blanket, yet McConnell’s face remains unseen.

The neighbor recorded the incident on the morning of June 14 after noticing the commotion outside and stepping outside to investigate. Two ambulances, a fire truck, and numerous Capitol Police officers were present at the scene.

At one point during the incident, the neighbor approached a police officer to inquire if McConnell was experiencing a medical emergency, but the officer declined to disclose any details regarding the patient.

The neighbor later conversed with an eyewitness who claimed to have seen McConnell’s face as he was wheeled out on the stretcher, mentioning that he did not have an oxygen mask.

A spokesperson for McConnell previously released a statement indicating that the Republican senator was hospitalized on the morning of June 14 and is currently “receiving excellent care.”
