The court documents reveal a series of alleged text exchanges between Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez following an incident on September 26. In these texts, Martinez informed Berry that Maceo had requested an early pickup and sought her approval for the change. Berry’s response was reportedly, “No, I’m not okay with it. Does he want to fight his mother? What kind of child are we raising?” She went on to assert, “As a father, ask him what kind of child he is,” before adding, “I’m his mother?”
Martinez reportedly replied, expressing his lack of awareness regarding the situation but claimed that Berry and Maceo often have disagreements. Berry then countered, “So you keep him at your place even if he doesn’t want to stay?” She emphasized, “I’m his mother, and this is unacceptable! He shows no respect for me, and you should not condone this as his father!” Berry added, “He is disrespectful to me and believes I have no authority over anything. To him, I’m just a source of money! This is wrong and unacceptable!”

In a separate text purportedly sent on September 27, Berry reached out to Martinez regarding her desire to communicate with Maceo. Berry’s attorney, Marina Beck, has categorically denied the allegations, labeling Martinez’s court filing as “completely devoid of merit and intentionally misleading.” Conversely, Martinez’s attorney, Patrick Baghdaserians, stated that his client’s “primary concern” is the health, safety, and well-being of Maceo, emphasizing that Martinez is committed to safeguarding their son.

As reported earlier, the ongoing custody battle between Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez has intensified. A judge has granted Martinez temporary custody of their son, Maceo, based on allegations that Berry choked the child during the September 26 incident. This ruling has altered their previous 50/50 custody arrangement. Under the new agreement, Berry will have daytime visitation with Maceo twice a week and every other weekend. she is mandated to maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from Martinez. The former couple is set to appear in court again on October 16.
