Following this verdict, the ‘Crank That’ artist took to social media to express his disbelief and urged his followers not to accept the verdict as truth. In a defiant statement, he declared, “If you believe I touched that woman, you’re out of your mind,” asserting his innocence in a video he shared.
He further articulated his belief that the outcome of this case is part of a broader agenda aimed at persecuting wealthy Black men. Soulja Boy suggested that people are conspiring against him because of his success and ownership of his assets.
“If you don’t recognize that they are targeting all successful Black men, I don’t know what to tell you,” he stated. “They’re angry because I am a business owner. They’re attempting to bring me down because I’m a trailblazer in this industry,” he added.
Soulja Boy also drew parallels to the experiences of prominent figures in the industry, claiming that similar attacks have been directed at icons like Jay-Z and Diddy.
“They did the same thing to Jay-Z, they did the same to P. Diddy, and it’s been the same pattern for many others,” he continued.

According to Variety, she began her employment with him in 2018 and alleged that he initiated romantic advances within a month of her starting. She also described how their relationship escalated to violence rather quickly.
During the court session on April 10, Soulja Boy firmly denied all accusations leveled against him. He asserted that he never harmed his ex-assistant and claimed she was not officially employed by him. Soulja maintained that she was merely staying with him and helping occasionally but was never on his payroll. He also insisted that their relationship was consensual, though he admitted that there were instances when things became heated.
