Michael Cohen Addresses Donald Trump Request for a Presidential Pardon: What’s Next?

Donald Trump‘s former attorney and confidant, Michael Cohen, has been going the extra mile to win favor, particularly now that he is seeking a presidential pardon.
In a recent segment from his interview with Trump, Michael Cohen expressed a sense of camaraderie, remarking, “Boss, you recall when I was always by your side? I used to analyze the polls on a daily basis.”
This update highlights Cohen’s efforts to reconcile with Trump after he testified against him during the 2024 hush money trial, where he faced a conviction on 34 felony charges.
Earlier this year, Cohen expressed feeling “coerced” into testifying against Trump. In the latest interview, Trump commended him for revising his previous criticisms, describing it as a significant move on Cohen’s part.
Cohen appeared on CNN to promote his interview with Trump, informing Jake Tapper that he plans to contact the Justice Department to ensure his presidential pardon application is being processed.
Recently, Cohen disclosed that he and Trump are on the path to repairing their strained relationship following meetings at Trump’s New Jersey golf club last summer and at Mar-a-Lago earlier this year.
