Reality television personality Sidney Starr is desperate to get out of jail. She has filed a request with the court for immediate bond release, as reported by TMZ.
According to her legal documents, Sidney has been in custody in Georgia since her arrest on August 2, facing charges of sodomy and others.
In her plea, the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star argues that there is no evidence suggesting she poses a flight risk. She emphasizes her stable history, having lived in Chicago her entire life and working in the “television industry.”
Sidney has requested the judge to set a reasonable bond, claiming her financial situation is dire and that she can only afford a “nominal bond.”
TMZ initially reported that Sidney was arrested on serious charges, including sodomy and child molestation, after an alleged incident that occurred at an Embassy Suites hotel in Hapeville.
According to police reports, Sidney allegedly met a male in the hotel lobby before returning to her hotel room, where she purportedly engaged in oral sex.
Law enforcement officials spoke with the boy and his parents after a hotel employee alerted the authorities.
During the investigation, Sidney claimed that the male had told her he was 18, but police were informed by the parents that their son was actually under 16.
While being questioned, officers reported that an open condom fell out of Sidney’s pocket, and they discovered another condom inside her pocket.
