Understanding the Charges Faced by Lil Durk
Lil Durk, whose full name is Durk Devontay Banks, faced five key federal charges linked to an alleged murder-for-hire scheme aimed at rapper Quando Rondo in August 2022. These charges included conspiracy to commit a violent crime, stalking Rondo with a dangerous weapon, stalking Saviay’a Robinson, known as Lul Pab, leading to his death, utilizing interstate facilities to facilitate murder-for-hire resulting in death, and the unlawful use, carrying, and discharge of firearms and a machine gun in connection with a violent crime leading to death.

Just one day prior to the anticipated verdict, Lil Durk’s behavior in court raised eyebrows as the jury continued its deliberations. Journalist Michael Blackshire, who covered the trial, noted that the rapper entered the courtroom with a smile on Thursday, engaging warmly with his legal team and others present.
His attorney, Drew Findling, was seen giving him a supportive pat on the back and complimenting his style.
