India Royale Expresses Support After Lil Durk’s Significant Court Day
While Lil Durk may not be a free man yet, India Royale is unwavering in her support for him. She made her commitment clear through a message shared late Friday night, following his not-guilty verdict in the murder-for-hire trial. India reposted a nostalgic photo from a fan’s Instagram page, capturing Durk sharing a tender kiss with their daughter, Willow Banks. Accompanying the image, she expressed her gratitude with the message, “Thank You God,” along with a praying hands emoji.
Durk Achieves Legal Victory But Remains In Custody
As previously reported by The Shade Room, both India and Durk’s mother were present to support him as the jury delivered its long-awaited verdict. Reports indicate the Chicago rapper was overwhelmed with emotion, breaking down in tears upon hearing the not guilty verdict. His mother also became emotional, leading India to comfort her with a supportive embrace as the jury’s decision was revealed. Durk is not completely in the clear. According to Complex, the 33-year-old will continue to be held in custody as he prepares for his upcoming RICO trial set to begin on October 5.
Durk’s Eldest Son Angelo Banks Shares Heartfelt Message Following Verdict
India Royale was not the only family member to express love for Durk after the verdict. His eldest son, Angelo Banks, took to his Instagram Story to share a touching message for his father, posting a nostalgic photo of himself and his siblings alongside Durk. Angelo wrote, “I love you dad. I always believed in you.”
Throughout the trial, Angelo has consistently shown support for his dad. Back in June, he honored Durk with a special Father’s Day post. Fans have also glimpsed the strong bond between Angelo and India, especially when she and Willow attended Durk’s eighth-grade graduation in May. Durk shares Angelo with Nicole Covone, and they also have a daughter named Bella Banks. In total, Durk is a proud father to seven biological children, including Angelo, Bella, and Willow, whom he shares with India, as well as Skylar and three other sons: Romeo, Zayden, and Du’Mier Banks.
