In Nobunga’s Ambition, players can effortlessly switch between using a controller and a USB mouse without any hassle. According to Michi Ryu, a representative from Koei Tecmo, once the USB mouse is connected, a notification will appear in the top-left corner of the screen confirming the connection. “When the USB mouse is connected, it takes priority over the Joy-Con 2. As you can see, you can switch instantly. It’s very smooth,” he explained in a video that has been translated from Japanese.
This leads us to ponder the implications for other mouse-friendly games on the Switch 2 platform. An intriguing title that comes to mind is Civilization VII, another launch game that could benefit from mouse support.
