Machine Gun Kelly Reveals Reasons for Declining Role in ‘Sinners’

Machine Gun Kelly recently appeared on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ and shared insights about his decision to turn down a part in the ‘Sinners’ cast. As we all know, Ryan Coogler’s film featuring Michael B. Jordan has been smashing box office records this year. MGK disclosed that he was in the running to portray one of the vampires but quickly opted out. The reason behind his choice? The script required the vampires to use the n-word, which he strongly opposed. “Yeah, but in the auditions he has to say n-word and I just wouldn’t do it,” Machine Gun Kelly elaborated, emphasizing his commitment to his principles.

Public Reaction on Social Media Regarding MGK’s Decision

Following the release of the clip by TSR, fans in the comment section voiced their support for MGK, affirming that he truly passed the vibe check. Many praised him for maintaining respect and adhering to his moral compass, while others humorously remarked that he should have anticipated that controversy from the outset.

Another user, @ko.licious, expressed, “His daughter is black, I totally understand and respect it ❤️”

MGK Celebrates the Arrival of His Daughter With Megan Fox

While social media users have shared various perspectives on MGK’s choice to pass on the ‘Sinners’ role, it’s important to note that he was busy fulfilling his responsibilities as a father before the film’s premiere. The musician was preparing to welcome his first child with Megan Fox, who was born on March 27, as reported by PEOPLE. Soon after, Machine Gun Kelly took to Instagram to announce the name of their baby girl — Saga Blade Fox-Baker. In addition to this new addition to his family, MGK also has a daughter from a previous relationship, named Casie Colson Baker, showcasing his commitment to being a dedicated father.
