How to complete the competitive play challenge in Overwatch 2
To complete the competitive play challenge in Overwatch 2, you need to win 50 games in Quick Play.
Quick Play is the unranked Play Mode of Overwatch 2.
You can either join a Role Queue (choose a role before you play) or an Open Queue (play any role).
You can view the progress of the challenge by navigating to the Main Menu > Challenges > Competitive.
The competitive play challenge is the “Competitive Play Qualification” challenge.
How to unlock competitive mode in Overwatch 2
To unlock competitive mode in Overwatch 2, you need to win 50 games in Quick Play mode.
You can either join the Role Queue (choose a role before you play) or the Open Queue (play any role).
You can view the challenge by navigating to the Main Menu > Challenges > Competitive.
The challenge is called “Competitive Play Qualification” and you can see how many Quick Play games you’ve played.
For example, “Progress: 1 of 50” means that you’ve only played 1 game of Quick Play and you have to play 49 more to unlock competitive mode.
What does “Unavailable because one or more party members” mean in Overwatch 2?
“Unavailable because one or more party members” means that either you or your friend haven’t unlocked competitive mode yet.
You need to play 50 games of Quick Play to have access to competitive mode.
If one or more of your friends haven’t played 50 games of Quick Play, you’ll get the error message.
You need to be in a party where everyone has competitive mode unlocked.
