Among the many thrilling highlights on the schedule, don’t miss the speedrun of the beloved PlayStation classic, Astro Bot, set for Sunday, January 5 at 6:30 PM ET. In an impressive display of generosity, last year’s AGDQ, also held in Pittsburgh, successfully raised $2.5 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Standout moments included an exhilarating no-hit run of Resident Evil 2 (2019), a unique performance of Super Mario 64 played on an electric drum kit, and the heartwarming participation of a dog named Peanut Butter who assisted in a run of the NES classic Gyromite. Over its impressive 15-year history, the Games Done Quick Organization has raised an astounding total of $51.8 million for various charitable causes.
For those unable to attend in person, AGDQ 2025 will be available for streaming on Twitch. However, if you wish to experience the excitement live at the Wyndham Grand in downtown Pittsburgh, now is the perfect time to register and secure your spot at this incredible event.
