Funeral of Nolan Wells to Feature Al Sharpton and Civil Rights Leaders

Nolan Wells‘ family and friends are coming together to honor the life of the 18-year-old, as the circumstances surrounding his tragic death continue to raise serious concerns in his Mississippi hometown. Notable figures will be present to pay tribute and offer their condolences.

Today in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, family, friends, and civil rights advocates will gather to remember Nolan. Rev. Al Sharpton will lead the funeral service, and family attorney Ben Crump will advocate for justice during the proceedings, as confirmed by TMZ.

Nolan and his high school friends set out for a Fourth of July celebration at Horn Island, but they returned without him. Tragically, two days later, Nolan’s body was discovered along the island’s shore, sparking an outpouring of grief.

Initially, friends informed investigators that Nolan opted to remain behind, believing he could secure another ride. This account has been met with skepticism from his parents, who are seeking clarity and answers regarding the events that transpired.

Attorney Ben Crump is conducting a separate investigation into the circumstances of Nolan’s death while awaiting the results of official autopsy and toxicology reports. These findings will be submitted to a grand jury for consideration.
