The SunHerald reported that the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center will host Nolan Xavier Wells’ funeral. While Christine Wonsley confirmed on Monday that she is organizing the service, further details remain undisclosed. The venue’s executive director stated that they are in communication with Nolan’s family representatives.
According to WLOX, the date for the service has been set. The funeral is scheduled for July 20, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. and the service running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The venue can accommodate between 1,200 and 1,500 attendees. RSVPs will be encouraged to assist with planning, and security measures, including metal detectors, will be implemented as is standard for events at the facility.

This week, Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter participated in a ‘Good Morning America’ interview aired on Tuesday (July 14), where he discussed the investigation into Nolan Xavier Wells’ circumstances. He acknowledged that Nolan’s family deserves clarity and answers. “It’s vital that we remain diligent in gathering all necessary facts. That’s what the family deserves,” Sheriff Ledbetter stated.

Authorities have previously suggested that Nolan may have drowned, a claim that his family, along with their attorney, Ben Crump, has challenged.
