Found Dead: Model Stabbed in Ex’s Car After Texts

A Brazilian model was tragically found stabbed to death inside her former partner’s car, shortly after she sent a concerning text to her mother indicating that he had appeared at her residence.

Larissa Brito‘s body was discovered during a routine customs inspection of her ex-boyfriend Mathieu‘s vehicle in Brignoles, France.

A local news outlet reported that her body was concealed beneath plastic bags in the backseat, leading to the arrest of her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend.

Reports indicate that Larissa relocated to France a few years ago and was in a relationship with Mathieu for approximately five months.

She reportedly ended her relationship with him upon discovering his alleged connections to organized crime and his history of previous convictions.

Allegations suggest that Larissa moved to Nice due to Mathieu’s persistent stalking. Just hours before her death, she reportedly texted her mother, stating, “Mathieu is here.”

According to a Brazilian news source, Larissa’s mother attempted to contact Mathieu, who claimed that her daughter was merely sleeping. When Larissa’s mother threatened to involve the authorities, Mathieu blocked her phone number.

It remains uncertain when exactly Larissa was murdered, and her autopsy has been scheduled for the following week. Her mother is working to arrange for her body to be repatriated to Brazil.

Larissa was just 25 years old.
