South Park marked its Emmy victory with a playful jab at Donald Trump.
After the series won the award for Outstanding Animated Program at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday, the official South Park X account shared an enthusiastic post celebrating creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with their talented team.
This celebratory message featured a humorous image displaying a cartoon version of the president with his pants down, holding an Emmy. He is surrounded by beloved South Park characters, including Cartman, Kyle, Stan, Kenny, Mr. Garrison, PC Principal, Jesus Christ, and Satan.
“You finally got your Emmy,” the image cheekily states.

South Park takes a clever shot at the president, highlighting that Trump has received two Emmy nominations—one in 2004 and another in 2005 for his role as executive producer of the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program nominee The Apprentice—but has yet to secure a win. In contrast, South Park has achieved six Emmy wins alongside 21 nominations, with Parker and Stone being inducted into the 28th Television Academy Hall of Fame earlier this year.

The president may find it more upsetting that South Park received this year’s Emmy following a notably anti-Trump Season 27, which featured a premiere episode that garnered significant attention. This controversial episode, titled “Sermon On The ‘Mount,” ultimately secured the show its 2026 Emmy.
The episode drew sharp criticism from the White House due to its portrayal of Trump, who was depicted in bed with Satan and later wandering through the desert naked, revealing a talking micropenis during a deepfake public service announcement. the episode alluded to Trump’s insistence that people should move on from the infamous “Epstein list.”
When Parker and Stone addressed the episode at San Diego’s Comic-Con International in July, they humorously remarked, “We’re terribly sorry,” while looking out at the audience.
Season 27 (and 28) featured numerous moments criticizing Trump, with several episodes dedicated to satirizing his administration and policies.
As of this publication, neither Trump nor the White House has issued a response to South Park’s Emmy achievement or the social media post.
South Park Season 29 is set to debut on September 16 at 10 p.m. ET on Comedy Central, followed by streaming on Paramount+.
