“For more than two years, our teams have dedicated their efforts to investigating and dismantling the operations of criminal scam centers located in Southeast Asia. Initially, our focus was on scam centers in Cambodia; however, we have adapted our strategies to address the emergence of similar groups in countries such as Laos, Myanmar, and more recently, the United Arab Emirates. From the beginning, we have actively collaborated with expert NGOs and law enforcement agencies in both the US and Southeast Asia to gain insights into the methods employed by these criminal organizations, particularly in areas like Sihanoukville, Cambodia, known to be a hotspot for scams linked to organized crime from China.”
