Earlier this year, footage from a BJ’s in New Jersey went viral as it showed the ceiling giving way above customers pushing their shopping carts. At the time, a company spokesperson attributed the collapse to heavy rainfall.
“However, that does not absolve the responsibility for the building’s structural integrity,” Carter emphasizes.
Ultimately, twenty-seven individuals were injured in that incident, but fortunately, there were no fatalities.

As a result, “it does not guarantee that all other trades will perform their duties according to the established plan.”
