She also featured in “Day of the Animals”, “Grizzly”, and “The Great Muppet Caper”. Sadly, she passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 71 due to a heart attack, leaving a legacy tied to the Jaws phenomenon.

Murray Hamilton, who played Mayor Larry Vaughn, appeared in various films including “Jaws 2”, “The Drowning Pool”, “The Amityville Horror”, “1941”, and the TV series “B.J. and the Bear”. His life came to a close in 1986 when he passed away from cancer at the age of 63, remembered for his impactful roles on screen.

Jeffrey Voorhees, known for his role as Alex Kintner, was one of the youngest victims in the film. Chris Rebello, who portrayed Michael Brody, the son of Sheriff Brody in the original film, did not pursue an acting career thereafter. He remained in Martha’s Vineyard and served as an assistant coach for the local high school varsity soccer team. Tragically, he passed away in 2011 at the age of 37 from a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Lynn, and their son, James.

Jonathan Searle, known for his brief role as Cardboard Fin Kid, was an extra in the film, portraying one of the two children who wore a fake fin to create a scare among the locals. In 2022, he was appointed as the Oak Bluffs Police Chief, with the Massachusetts State Police commenting on his journey from a memorable role in a cultural phenomenon to a position of authority on the same island.
