50 Cent Responds to Lawsuit, Seeks Case Dismissal

50 Cent contends that the lawsuit filed by his former employee is filled with unsubstantiated claims and lacks credible proof … prompting him to request that a judge dismiss the entire case.

Recent legal documents acquired by TMZ reveal that 50 Cent is appealing to a federal judge to dismiss Monique Mayers‘ lawsuit entirely, labeling it a “media stunt” filled with inflammatory claims that do not belong in a courtroom.

Mayers asserts that she was terminated for refusing to engage in illegal activities to shield him, but 50 maintains her case relies on the flawed premise that numerous unsolicited calls and texts to her phone, seeking “Curtis,” “50,” or “Fif,” indicate he orchestrated a campaign of intimidation against her.

50 Cent argues that she fails to demonstrate that he personally initiated any calls, sent texts, left voicemails, or directed anyone to threaten her. He suggests that the more plausible explanation is that Mayers served as his assistant from 2007 to 2019, and people were simply trying to contact him using a number they had associated with him for years.

He further contends that if she genuinely felt harassed, she could have easily changed her phone number and informed her contacts, yet she chose not to take that step.

50 also pointed out that Mayers delayed filing the lawsuit, exceeding the statute of limitations. He highlighted that she waited over seven years after her employment ended before launching the lawsuit in April 2026.

Regarding the more sensational claims in the lawsuit, which reference his previous bankruptcy and an alleged attempt to file a false police report, 50 asserts that these points are irrelevant to the legal matters at hand and were included solely to attract media attention and sway public perception against him.

As first reported by TMZ, Mayers filed a lawsuit against Fif in April, claiming intentional infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy, alleging that he distributed her phone number and caused years of threatening calls and messages following her termination in 2019.
