Influencer Sydney Towle Passes Away at 26 After Courageous Fight Against Rare Cancer

Content creator Sydney Towle has tragically passed away after battling cholangiocarcinoma, an uncommon form of bile duct cancer.
Her family shared the sad news Thursday morning, accompanied by a joyful photo of her on a hike, sunlight radiating behind her. They expressed their love, stating, “We will always love you, Sydney. I am incredibly proud of your fierce fight. I love you.”
This heartbreaking announcement follows her brother, Austin Towle, revealing in a TikTok video just two days prior that she had entered hospice care, surrounded by loved ones.

Approximately two weeks ago, Sydney provided her followers with an update about the next phase of her clinical trial, which included tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy. She mentioned she had been silent on social media due to the persistent pain but remained optimistic while spending the past month in the hospital.
Sydney was diagnosed with cancer in 2023 after discovering a noticeable lump in her abdomen, which led her to share her journey on social media. Her inspiring story resonated with many, resulting in over 1.2 million followers across TikTok and Instagram.
In June, the Dartmouth graduate participated in Post Swim’s The Chemo Club collaboration at Miami Swim Week and also collaborated with Aerie.
Sydney was just 26 years old.
