Tyler Boebert, Son of Lauren Boebert Enters Plea Agreement in Child Abuse Case

Tyler Boebert, the son of Lauren Boebert, has accepted a plea deal from prosecutors related to his child abuse case, which may result in a short jail sentence, according to reports from TMZ.
Documents from the court indicate that the Weld County District Attorney’s Office has proposed a plea agreement where Tyler would admit guilt to charges of child abuse or negligence without causing injury.
The District Attorney’s recommendation includes a maximum sentence of 30 days in jail along with 12 months of supervised probation.
The prosecution has requested that Tyler complete a parenting program as part of his plea agreement.
As reported by TMZ, Tyler faced charges of child abuse or negligence after authorities discovered his infant wandering alone in the neighborhood in July 2025.
Subsequently, prosecutors revealed that another incident occurred a month prior to July 2025, where the child was reportedly left unattended and “wandering around” in a diaper under Tyler’s supervision before being noticed by a neighbor.
Before details emerged about the second incident, Representative Boebert publicly supported her son, stating, “Tyler has made significant progress in stabilizing his life as a father and a responsible citizen over the past year.”
Representative Boebert further remarked, “Regrettably, this situation arose from a misunderstanding regarding the supervision of my young grandson, which unfortunately led to him leaving our home.”
As first reported by TMZ, Tyler was arrested recently on charges of child sexual exploitation. Law enforcement indicated that these charges relate to a video he recorded at the age of 18 with his then-girlfriend, who was nearing her 18th birthday. The situation escalated after she contacted authorities when the video was leaked to others.
