Unpacking Waka Flocka’s Shocking Social Media Prank
On January 1st, Waka Flocka created quite a stir when he posted images of himself with a severely bruised face, alarming fans and followers. The photos displayed the Atlanta-based rapper with two black eyes, visible cuts on his nose, and noticeable scratches near one eye. Although he deleted the post shortly after, The Shade Room managed to capture the shocking images. In his post, he dramatically claimed that he was attacked by ten individuals, stating, “Can’t believe nobody helped me fight ten ns off, but I’m still standing ten toes marks.”
However, the truth soon emerged that Waka’s disturbing images and claims were merely part of a prank. Early the following day, January 2, the rapper took to his Instagram Stories to poke fun at those who believed his wild story. In a lighthearted video, he laughed and remarked, “Crazy how ns believed that st.” As of now, there remains no clear indication of what inspired Waka Flocka’s bizarre photos or the reasons behind his choice to joke around on the internet.
