Snoop Dogg Sets the Record Straight on His Crypto Ball Performance

In a recent appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Snoop Dogg confidently expressed that he remains unaffected by the multitude of opinions surrounding his performance at the Crypto Ball. He referred to this whirlwind of reactions as “30 for 30,” emphasizing that his contribution was merely a brief yet impactful 30-minute set.

Snoop elaborated, explaining that during his time at the Crypto Ball, he not only earned a significant paycheck but also forged valuable connections aimed at promoting cryptocurrency knowledge and financial literacy in underserved communities. After dedicating three decades to his craft, he found it hard to believe that performing for just half an hour would spark such controversy.

“So, which one is it 30 minutes or 30 years? So, is it a crime?”

Remaining unapologetic, Snoop declared that even if he captured a photo with Donald Trump or shared a moment with him, it’s his personal choice, and no one can dictate his actions. He clarified that he does not align himself with any political party, stating instead that he represents the “gangster party,” which reflects his unique identity and artistry.

“And G’s don’t explain st. So, that’s why I didn’t explain and go into details when mr f***s tried to cancel me and say ‘he a sellout.’ So, tomorrow is it a crime? I’m fighting.”

Snoop reiterated that his authentic actions and character should take precedence over public opinions. He posed a thought-provoking question, “What is he like as a real person?” emphasizing the importance of understanding individuals beyond their public personas.

Social Media Response to Snoop Dogg’s Performance

However, the reaction from the online community, particularly in The Shade Room’s comment section, shows that many individuals remain skeptical. A torrent of comments continues to label Snoop Dogg as a sellout, despite his assertions about staying true to himself and his values.

Snoop Dogg’s Response Following the Crypto Ball Controversy

A few days after the viral clip of Snoop performing at the Crypto Ball circulated online, he took to his Instagram Story to share some uplifting sentiments. Although he didn’t directly reference his performance, many believe his message was aimed at addressing the controversy, as he encouraged everyone to focus less on his choices and more on their own lives.

“Get your life right, stop worrying about mine. I’m cool. I’m together. Still a Black man. Still 100% black. All out, till you ball out or till you fall out,” Snoop proclaimed.
