Pinterest has unveiled an array of innovative discovery features during its annual Pinterest Presents event today. Key additions include visual search advertisements, AI-driven home décor restyling options, and a new season of its CTV series.
The first major announcement is the introduction of visual search ads. This feature allows advertisers to position their promotions within Pinterest search results and close-up Pins.

This innovative placement will feature paid promotions embedded within visual search results, enhancing the relevance of matches for image-based exploration.
For brands, this development is significant as Pinterest currently handles over 80 billion searches each month, with the majority being visual queries.
The beta version of Pinterest’s visual search ads will roll out in select markets in the upcoming weeks.
Beyond ads, Pinterest has upgraded its AI-assisted Performance+ campaigns. One notable feature is Priority Products, which allows advertisers to have greater control over the products they choose to highlight. self-serve A/B testing will be implemented to enhance the measurement of this option’s effectiveness.
Furthermore, Pinterest is introducing an app promotion feature aimed at developers to optimize for app installations.
On the user side, Pinterest has revealed a new restyling tool that enables users to utilize AI for reimagining spaces, testing different ideas, and comparing home décor styles.

This feature will generate various design ideas based on different aesthetics and products, offering valuable visual context before making purchase decisions.
The restyling feature is set to launch in the U.S. and Canada in the coming weeks.
Lastly, Pinterest is excited to announce a new season of its “Bring My Pinterest to Life” CTV series, where stylists transform users’ Pin ideas into tangible experiences and items.

The inaugural season aired earlier this year on Roku TV, with the upcoming season expected to maintain a similar creator-driven format, enriching the connection between Pinterest items and real-world experiences.
