Is there anything else scheduled for that day?
Game publishers are scrambling to adjust their release schedules to steer clear of the massive impact anticipated with the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 this fall. It’s surprising, then, to see that Edmund McMillen’s The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online is set to release on November 19, the same day as GTA 6. But you know what? That’s worthy of respect.
This latest installment introduces multiplayer functionality to The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, allowing online co-op play for up to four players. It encompasses the entire roguelike experience along with all the expansions released over the years. Players can enjoy Repentance+ Online on platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. A beta version has been available on PC since 2024, although it has received mixed reviews, with some users reporting performance issues and bugs.
This year has been quite eventful for McMillen, who also launched a new, unrelated roguelike game titled Mewgenics back in February.
