Omarosa Reflects on Her Infamous Reality TV Persona and Shares Insights on Her Experiences with Cynthia Bailey and Kim Zolciak
When it comes to regrets, Omarosa has a few lingering feelings. However, there’s one that stands out above the rest.
In her recent conversation with TooFab about her thrilling new reality competition series Acquired to Get Out—now available for streaming on Hulu—the infamous reality TV star opened up about her feelings of regret regarding some comments she made about her fellow contestant, Spencer Pratt. Despite her remorse, she stands firmly by a decision that significantly impacted her financial gain.
Acquired to Get Out, hosted by the talented Simu Liu, features a diverse cast of both familiar reality TV personalities and everyday individuals competing for a substantial cash prize. The format is particularly unique: contestants are confined within a luxurious mansion, and the potential prize money increases as time passes. If any contestant manages to sneak out undetected, they will win the accumulated prize at that moment. Afterward, the prize resets to zero, and any remaining funds after ten days are distributed equally among the contestants still in the game.

Upon their arrival at the luxurious residence during the premiere episode, Omarosa, age 51, described Spencer to another contestant as “the weirdest reality person you will ever meet.” This remark did not sit well with the The Hills alum, who later addressed it during his interview with TooFab.
When TooFab brought this statement to Omarosa’s attention, she responded, “I didn’t say he was the weirdest. Why are people saying that? … No, I said he is ‘a little weird.’ It was not the weirdest. Did I say he is the weirdest?”
In response, TooFab clarified that it was indeed a “direct quote,” prompting Omarosa to apologize immediately, telling Spencer, “Oh no, Spencer, I am sorry. I don’t want that.”
Despite her comments, she maintained that her impression of him remained unchanged and provided some context to clarify why she had described Spencer as “weird.”
“When Spencer came in, he was wearing these huge crystals, you know, he sells crystals and he does these… And so he came in and Kim [Zolciak] started talking to him about the crystals and all this other stuff,” Omarosa explained. “And I was like, ‘He’s kind of weird.’ And then one of the contestants asked, ‘Well, who is he?’ And I replied, ‘One of the weirdest.’ And now he is upset with me.”
When TooFab suggested that perhaps Spencer was more upset that Omarosa hadn’t addressed the comment directly to him, she laughed and replied, “I said a lot to his face. Just wait until Episode 7.”
“No, but I do like the guy and I love Heidi,” she clarified. “So I am sending love to Spencer today. You’re weird, but you’re also diabolical, which I think is a direct quote too.”
“That’s the highest praise one villain can give to another villain. But you definitely need to keep your eye on both Spencer and me,” she added. “I mean, we play this game the way it has to be played.”
During TooFab’s interview with Spencer, he was informed of Omarosa’s apology, to which he replied that she even texted him and denied ever calling him “the weirdest reality person you will ever meet.”
“I called her. I’m like, ‘I just watched it. Would you like to FaceTime and I’ll put it on?’ She’s like, ‘I don’t remember saying that,’” he claimed. “I thought it was very strange that you’d say that. I don’t mind being called weird. I just don’t know if I’m the weirdest. There are some strange shows on reality TV.”
Spencer’s wife, Heidi Montag, was not present during the interview but chimed in with her thoughts on the matter.
“I think Heidi just said, weird isn’t even a word that describes me. Thanks, honey,” he added. “Heidi’s not appreciating that comment.”
Meanwhile, Omarosa also opened up about her experience rooming with The Real Housewives of Atlanta alums Kim Zolciak and Cynthia Bailey in the Acquired to Get Out mansion—Cynthia, who also participated in Celebrity Big Brother alongside Omarosa.
“This house was a $45 million residence. It was stunning. I have to admit, I’ve been to many places, but this house was absolutely magnificent,” she remarked when asked to compare the mansion to those she stayed in during her time on House of Villains and Celebrity Big Brother, as well as during her tenure in the White House. “I want to thank Hulu, Disney, and the production team for giving us the master bedroom. My roommates were Cynthia Bailey and Kim Zolciak, and we had the Grand Dame queen suite. I felt incredibly comfortable throughout the shooting period. The bathroom we had was likely larger than my apartment at law school, probably around 800 to 900 square feet.”
When asked about her experience sharing a room with the two women, Omarosa mentioned that so much occurred they could have filmed “an entirely separate reality show.”
“We had the stars, of course, Big Brother. We had the fabulous Real Housewives of Atlanta. And one of our other roommates was a model,” she shared. “So we could have an entirely separate reality show because so many antics happened in this particular suite, including one incident that you’re going to witness involving Spencer when he decides to come into our bathroom.”

Throughout the competition, only two players successfully managed to escape when they teamed up—Bailey and adventurer Stein Retzlaff—who devised a plan where Bailey monitored the button while Retzlaff sprinted through the gate. The duo split the impressive $312,060 pot evenly. After the two left, $156,030 richer, they were followed by Clare Crawley and Jill Ashlock, who exited the house on their own accord. This left 16 contestants remaining, including Omarosa. Following several failed escape attempts, the remaining 16 players divided the $687,940 pot, each winning $42,996.
While conversing with TooFab, Omarosa candidly discussed her experience of having to divide the final winnings and explained why she wouldn’t have done anything differently.
According to the reality star, her main priority during filming was her law school education!
“I don’t know if you had a chance to speak with Cynthia or Stein, but I was in an alliance… the three of us were working together,” Omarosa claimed. She added, “Something the audience may not know is that I was in the midst of law school while we were filming this show. Four hours a day, I had to attend class, submit my readings, and complete my homework.”
“And the night they had the opportunity to make their escape was the very night I had class, and I had a deadline for an assignment that I simply couldn’t afford to fail or miss,” she continued. “So I just… Oh, it’s just… It’s a $100,000 decision, which I don’t regret making because I’m about to graduate from law school. Had I failed that class, I wouldn’t be graduating next month.”
Although she stated that she does not “regret” her choice, Omarosa admitted it remains “definitely a tough pill to swallow.”
“I should have been part of that escape with Cynthia and Stein,” she shared. “But I am very proud that I was able to navigate this experience while also attending law school, which is extremely challenging.”

Additionally, during her discussion with TooFab, the reality TV veteran shared her perspectives on being labeled a reality TV “villain” like Spencer.
“Villains have more fun. Nice girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere, right?” Omarosa said with a chuckle. “I don’t know that I lean into it. I tend to get that label because I play a very competitive game. However, in terms of the genre, I really believe that having Spencer on the show with me helped me because every time he came up with something crazy and creative to do, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m not going to let Spencer outdo me.’ So then I would do something outrageous and try to outshine him.”
“We both had to evolve our game because we had such large targets on our backs. As we are so much a part of this genre, we needed to find a way to escape despite all the various obstacles we faced because they… knew our strategy,” she continued. “They knew how we played up until now. Over 100 reality shows. If you want to figure out what Omarosa is going to do in a show, just look at my IMDB.”
“But in this particular show, I was able to evolve my game, which is what allowed me to accomplish what I did on the show,” she concluded.
