Microsoft confirms its next Xbox Game Showcase is on June 9 at 1PM ET

Microsoft has officially announced the next Xbox Games Showcase. In a blog site article, the company mentioned the summertime version will be on Sunday, June 9, at 10AM PT / 1PM ET.

The occasion will be followed by a cryptic “[REDACTED] Direct” that possibly isn’t significantly of a mystery. The teaser symbol appears to be like some thing ripped from the Simply call of Obligation franchise, and reports now pointed to the military shooter’s future installment arriving this calendar year. Microsoft describes the direct occasion as “a special deep-dive into the subsequent installment of a beloved franchise.”

Further squashing any intrigue, The Verge claims it is confirmed the function will target on Activision-Blizzard’s very long-operating franchise. This will be the 1st Xbox showcase with the Phone of Obligation maker formally inside of Microsoft’s grasp.

The organization wishes to turn heads with its new article-acquisition portfolio, and Xbox will use the complete week (which coincides with Summer Sport Fest) to pump up its lineup. “June 9’s double-attribute broadcast also kicks off a week’s really worth of coverage right here on Xbox Wire and The Official Xbox Podcast, showcasing updates and deep-dives on a ton of online games,” the organization wrote.

Engadget will have all your Xbox Online games Showcase and Summertime Game Fest information in early June.
