However, this feature could have numerous applications within your personal chats. Many users tend to prefer sharing private files on WhatsApp, known for its strong security measures and a larger file size limit of 2GB.
If you belong to communities on Messenger where discussions revolve around specific themes, you can now share larger files in those chats as well, which could be highly beneficial for collaborative efforts.
