Lil Reese is in police custody almost 2 weeks after an arrest warrant was issued over allegations he punched and strangled a former girlfriend … TMZ has realized.
In response to arrest data … the rapper was booked for aggravated assault of a household or family member within the early hours of Monday morning and was subsequently denied bond.
An eyewitness tells TMZ … the Chicago drill rapper swung by The Handle nightclub in Houston, Texas Sunday night, the place LR had a run-in with authorities. We’re instructed officers had been already on the membership … although, it’s unclear why they had been stationed on the hotspot.
The eyewitness tells us cops caught wind of Lil Reese’s presence at The Handle and closed in on him.
We’re instructed Lil Reese was finally apprehended by the officers and put in handcuffs.
Test it out … in an image from the scene, Lil Reese is escorted to a cop automobile as his arms are cuffed behind his again. He retains a critical expression, showing to remain tight-lipped throughout the arrest.
Lil Reese donned the same expression in his mugshot following the arrest … holding a straight face for the image.
The reserving comes 2 weeks after authorities started looking for Lil Reese over an alleged incident at The Pink Home in Houston.
As TMZ beforehand reported … the rapper allegedly punched his ex in the precise cheek and tried to choke her out after she had rejected his advances throughout a run-in on the nightclub.
The girl instructed police she was left “gasping for air” after the alleged assault and feared for her life.
In response to paperwork from the Houston Police Division, the girl’s buddy witnessed the alleged incident and referred to as for safety to intervene within the state of affairs.
We’ve reached out to Reese’s legal professional Carl Moore for remark … thus far, no phrase again.
