Radio Andy / SiriusXM
John Leguizamo is kinda speaking ill of the dead — labeling the late Patrick Swayze as insecure although shooting a motion image in the ’90s … with some other descriptions to boot.
The actor was speaking to Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM radio clearly show this week — and they began speaking about JL’s ’95 comedy ‘To Wong Foo’ … in which Pat, John and Wesley Snipes portrayed drag queens and shared the highlight collectively on camera.
Andy tells John he’d only heard excellent things about Patrick — but when John hesitates to assure that … they get into a minor gossip, with John describing them butting heads on set.
Obtain a listen for by oneself … extremely extended tale shorter, JL promises Patrick was “insecure” and “neurotic” although they had been getting filming — and, evidently, significantly of it knowledgeable to do with the improv John and Wesley had been getting executing with their characters, commonly most likely off script and developing up lines.
John suggests Patrick got irked by that, and would verify with them to stick to the script — a small some thing John states he was not prepared to do … as he necessary to offer some flare and flash to his character, which he says was missing in the OG draft.
He also claims Patrick basically just could not retain up … and it seems to have brought about troubles.
With that stated, John does say “relaxation in peace” a handful of diverse instances right here and says he’s acquired absolutely nothing but seriously like for Patrick when it is all stated and completed. Even now … not the greatest remembrance.
