Similar to its predecessor, the Destroys series is part of a larger celebration commemorating Godzilla’s 70th anniversary. Kristin Parcell, the general manager of Toho International, reminisced about the character’s historical crossovers with Marvel from decades past. She enthusiastically described this new miniseries as “the perfect way to celebrate 70 years of the King of Monsters.” Parcell emphasized that this ongoing collaboration with Marvel, which integrates Godzilla into the expansive Marvel Universe, promises an unparalleled and electrifying experience for fans of both legendary franchises, uniting two titans of entertainment history.
