Details Unveiled About the Unfortunate Incident at Jamie Foxx’s Birthday Celebration
On Saturday, December 14, TMZ released an exclusive report detailing that Foxx marked his 57th birthday with a celebratory dinner at the upscale Mr. Chow on Friday, December 13. The report indicated that Foxx was reportedly involved in a physical altercation at the Beverly Hills venue, making the evening memorable for all the wrong reasons.
According to the report, by the time law enforcement arrived at the scene, Foxx had already left the restaurant, leaving many questions about the exact circumstances surrounding the incident unanswered and vague.
That same evening, a representative for Foxx provided a statement to the media regarding the troubling incident, shedding light on the situation.
“Jamie Foxx was celebrating his birthday when an individual from a nearby table threw a glass that struck him in the mouth. He required stitches and is currently in recovery. The police have been contacted, and the situation is now under investigation by law enforcement,” the spokesperson stated.
Furthermore, a witness reported that patrons at a table adjacent to Foxx were being “rude and vulgar.” Allegedly, when Foxx requested them to cease their disruptive behavior, one individual at the table retaliated by throwing the glass, resulting in the injury to Foxx’s face.

This past weekend, Foxx took to his Instagram to share a heartfelt message in response to the reports surrounding the unfortunate event. He posted a striking image with a black background that featured the text, “The devil is busy… but I’m too blessed to be stressed.”
“The devil is a lie. Can’t win here… I sincerely thank everyone who prayed for and checked on me. When your light shines bright, they attempt to spread darkness, but they are unaware that you are made for it. The lights have been shining brightly, and I want to extend huge thanks to everyone who has watched and been inspired by ‘What Had Happened Was.’ It’s currently number 1 on @netflix. If you haven’t watched it yet, please do—it comes straight from my heart and soul,” Foxx elaborated in the caption of his post.
According to a report by USA Today, the investigation by the Beverly Hills Police Department into the incident involving Foxx is still ongoing, as they seek to uncover all details about what transpired that night.
