Police reports indicate that Glady’s Chania, the 58-year-old’s politician wife is the prime suspect.

Nation reports that the former Kiambu county women representative candidate posted a message on Facebook on Tuesday, October 16, the same day she reported her husband missing.
Chania, a prominent counseling psychologist who appeared on national television numerous times, shared a laughing emoji with a message but life.

“If you can’t understand life, just go and talk to a growing up child and restart yourself.”
The next day, she appeared on Kameme TV, speaking about women’s politics and leadership. She also shared her TV appearance on Facebook, writing:
“Kata simu, tuko (hang up the phone we are on) Kameme TV.”
Chania later celebrated getting 16,000 followers but questionably made no effort to seek help finding her husband.
Mwangi’s body was found on the same day, and the psychologist said that he left their home without his phone and never returned.
Tables turned when the Directorate of Criminal Investigation said she was =the prime suspect in the chilling murder that has echoed across the county.

In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that Chania, who has three kids with the deceased, was unhappy after he fell in love with another woman.
Mwangi, who arrived in Kenya on September 13 from Rwanda, met Lucy Muthoni in 2021 as she looked for a house to rent.
The construction engineer attended a family function with Muthoni and Chania before going missing the next day.
“She said the deceased had gone for a walk and left his phone behind,” Chania reportedly told Lucy’s friends when they called asking about Mwangi’s whereabouts.
