With three races to go in the MotoGP championship, Fabio Quartararo now has Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia just two points behind. In a truly decisive phase and where any mistake is unlikely to allow a recovery, the Frenchman has shown signs of being completely focused on what matters: the championship. The rider went further and went on “holiday” on Instragram.
A self-confessed user of social media and with a particular focus on Instagram, Quartararo has signalled that he wants no distractions from now on and has gone into “holiday mode”.
If for example on Twitter or on the official Facebook page everything seems unchanged, the truth is that on Instagram there is a clear difference, with the rider removing his profile picture and in his bio writing: ‘Having a break’.
A simple gesture, but that may have several analyses. What is certain is that the rider comes from one of his worst performances in 2022, with the 17th place in Buriram, in a race where he had difficulties from the beginning to the end.
The Frenchman has 219 points at the moment, two more than Bagnaia – his main challenger for the title – when there are still 75 in contention.
