TMZ Studios has a brand new sequence, “Unusual & Suspicious,” now airing on a dozen FOX stations, the place we discover unusual, unexplained and downright bizarre tales, and now we’re wanting into the validity of exorcisms.
Take Anneliese Michel in Germany for instance … she was allegedly possessed by a demon, who claimed they’d a proper to make use of her physique till she “croaked.”
Whereas a lot of exorcisms go down in non-public — distant from the massive display screen and Hollywood scripts — there are some that occur in church, usually on digital camera.
A few of these extra public exorcisms do appear slightly performative … which raises the query, are these people actually possessed or simply affected by psychological sickness?!?
There are different attainable explanations too, some primarily based on science or drugs … however Anneliese feels extra legit than others, they usually’re all fairly scary.
So, what is the deal right here???
