Tracing the Origins of the Feud
The initial spark of this contentious feud ignited when Evelyn Lozada made a controversial comment, referring to Jennifer Williams’ spouse, Christian Gold, as a “felon” during a particular episode of ‘Basketball Wives LA’. In a swift retaliation, Jennifer responded by casting some shade of her own, labeling the rapper The Game — who shares a child with Evelyn’s daughter, Shaniece Hairston — a felon as well. Shaniece, who wasn’t pleased with the indirect attack, quickly stepped in to defend her family, emphasizing that she didn’t appreciate the offensive name-drop or the unnecessary deflection.
Evelyn Unveils Evidence Through Receipts
Shortly afterward, Evelyn sought to clarify the situation by posting receipts. She utilized Instagram to disclose alleged text messages that she had sent to Jennifer, cautioning her against legally marrying Christian. Evelyn stood firm by her previous commentary, reiterating her concerns and asserting that her perspective remained unchanged.
Jennifer’s Subtle Shade in Response
In a follow-up, Jennifer took to Instagram to share a story post that caught everyone’s attention — a photo of her husband, Christian, standing next to Evelyn’s former fiancé, Lavon Lewis. However, instead of directly addressing Evelyn, Jennifer opted to congratulate Lavon on his recent engagement, effectively delivering a loud yet subtle clapback. Fans interpreted the post as a quiet, yet effective, retaliation.
Evelyn Lozada’s Bold Retaliation
This brings us to the latest development. Evelyn took to X (previously known as Twitter) to make it clear that she wasn’t finished with the drama. After Jennifer mentioned her former partner on a recent episode of ‘Basketball Wives LA’, Evelyn retorted by accusing Christian of not paying child support. She didn’t hold back, confronting him publicly and keeping the pressure on.
This ongoing feud, which involves family members, felony accusations, and drama, has exceeded the boundaries of reality TV — and it is clear that this battle is far from over.
