Estranged Husband of Denise Richards Denies Abuse Claims

Denise Richards‘ estranged husband has publicly addressed the serious allegations of abuse that she has made against him, vehemently denying any form of wrongdoing in a passionate statement aimed at clearing his name.

Aaron Phypers issued a statement to TMZ on Thursday, firmly asserting that he has never engaged in physical abuse or emotional abuse against Denise or anyone else. He characterized the allegations made against him as “false and deeply hurtful,” emphasizing his commitment to honesty in his relationships.

Although Phypers acknowledges that he and Richards faced numerous challenges throughout their marriage, he insists that these challenges never included any form of abuse. He stated that he consistently approached their relationship with love, patience, and respect, which he believes are essential in a marital partnership.

Aaron has requested privacy as he and Denise navigate these personal matters, highlighting the sensitive nature of their situation and the need to handle it with care and discretion.

As reported, Aaron filed for divorce from Denise earlier this month, citing the standard legal term “irreconcilable differences.” The couple, who wed in 2018, is now facing the complexities of divorce proceedings, with Aaron seeking spousal support from his estranged wife.

Richards has filed for and obtained a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Phypers, alleging multiple incidents of violence during their relationship, which she claims included threats to her life made by him.

Richards alleges that “Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently engage in violent actions against me, including choking, squeezing my head with both hands, tightly gripping my arms, slapping me in the face and head, and forcefully slamming my head against the bathroom towel rack,” among other disturbing actions.

She also provided evidence, including photographs of a black eye that she claims resulted from an incident in 2022, when she alleges Aaron became paranoid about potential listening devices in the plants he had purchased, ultimately leading to him striking her in the eye with his palm.

Richards asserts that the pattern of abuse persisted into the early days of this month, detailing an alarming incident where she threatened to contact the police, prompting Aaron to ominously respond, “I would like to see the cops take me away; I will blow everything up if they try.”
