Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend sells his photos and gifts, earns a whopping 1.3 crore

Elon Musk is a well-known name. His successful career, significant social media presence and his much-talked-about personal life have made him a popular global figure. Recently, one of his ex-girlfriends earned some money out of his fame. She sold the Tesla CEO’s candid shots and some other items for exorbitant amounts of money.

Jennifer Gwynne, Musk’s university girlfriend, sold some of their pictures together as lovers and a few items given to her by Musk at the RR Auction based in Boston. She has earned approximately 1.3 crores ($165,000) from the sale.

The auction stated that the items consisted of never-seen-before pictures of Musk and his high school sweetheart Gwynne. It also included some of the gifts Musk gave his girlfriend at the time.

The New York Post claimed that the gifts included a gold necklace with a small emerald stone and a card signed by Musk. The chain was sold for over Rs 40 lakhs ($51,000), while the card was sold for nearly approximately Rs 14 lakhs ($17,000). Out of the 18 pictures sold, one consisted of Musk, Jennifer and four other resident advisors. It was sold for around 1.40 lakh ($1,765).

Gwynne revealed that she was motivated to carry out the auction after she saw how test papers corrected by Musk were auctioned off.

Meanwhile, the billionaire took to Twitter and change his image. In fact, he changed his profile picture to a photo that was put out for auction.

The couple dated while they were studying at the University of Pennsylvania. They broke up when Musk moved to California.
