Threads users on social media have uncovered an engaging way to join in on the excitement of Apple event week: the interactive web game “Design the Next iPhone.”
This creative game, developed by Neal Agarwal and available for free on his website Neal.fun, allows users to unleash their imagination. Agarwal’s platform also features other entertaining mini-games, such as “Draw Logos from Memory” and “Asteroid Launcher.”
“Design the Next iPhone” lives up to its name, enabling players to construct their ideal iPhone by choosing everything from ports and cameras to buttons. You can even add quirky attachments, like googly eyes or steering wheels. If you’ve ever dreamed of having an iPhone equipped with a joystick or a rotary dial, this game lets you bring that vision to life.

I must confess—design has never been my strong point. While I aimed to create an innovative phone, I ended up with a rather absurd design. It seems unlikely that Apple would be interested in a phone featuring an antenna and tiny feet. (Fun fact: My first cellphone actually had an antenna, kids.)
One aspect I wish the game included was the option to create a classic flip phone, which is rumored to be in the works at Apple for future releases.
