Dr. Umar Asserts His Ongoing Communication with His Alleged Daughter Before Her Viral Claims
In case you missed it, a woman named Nisa became the center of attention after she accused Dr. Umar of failing to be a part of her life while maintaining a misleading persona online. In response to her allegations, Umar took to Instagram to release several videos, labeling her claims as “cap.” He is now firmly reiterating that Nisa’s viral TikTok posts are merely a “money grab.”
In a detailed Instagram caption, Umar stated that he has been in contact with Nisa for years. He expressed his desire to meet her face-to-face; however, he claims that she has consistently failed to follow through on these opportunities.
“Every time I have heard from my child, I have requested to see and spend quality time with her. She has never accepted my invitations for a meeting throughout all these years. As soon as I mention wanting to see her, the conversation abruptly ends, only for her to send me another random text message the following year. I have often felt like I was being intentionally toyed with, but I continued to seek the chance to connect with her.”
Nisa Responds: Clout Chasing Accusations Dismissed
Nisa recently returned to social media with additional videos, defending herself against the accusations of clout-chasing tied to Dr. Umar’s name. She emphasized that she has been a notable figure online for quite some time, even gaining traction with videos prior to revealing her connection to her father. “It’s always about clout. You’re bashing your dad, you’re doing this, you’re doing that. But you don’t know the whole story,” she stated during a recent livestream.
“If you want me on your platform, you’ll need to compensate me. Many people have reached out for interviews, but you’ll have to pay up, as I’m not doing anything for free,” she elaborated.
She further clarified that if she engages with any platform to discuss her issues with her father, she expects to be financially compensated, stating her fee ranges between “$3,500 to $10K.”
A Timeline of Events Between Dr. Umar and Nisa
Nisa’s initial TikTok videos gained popularity after she claimed to have reached out to Dr. Umar to connect with a woman she believes could be her sister. She clarified that her goal was never to disparage him but to express her frustrations about his perceived dishonesty on social media.
“He has not been present in my life. I want to make it clear that I’m not posting this video to attack him. I’m sharing this to present the facts. How can he be on Instagram, advocating for Black kings to engage with Black women, yet he’s absent from his Black daughter’s life?”
In response, Umar expressed his willingness to have an open discussion with Nisa and her mother regarding their situation, but he cautioned that he might present evidence if the conversation took a negative turn.
“Let’s get together—daughter, mother, and father—and have a constructive discussion in front of everyone. We need to resolve this, and I’m prepared to bring documentation to back up my claims. So, baby smurf, please gather your mother, and I’ll be there,” Umar responded.
