Lindsay Clancy Copycat: Disturbing Online Activity Haunting Social Media Posts Prior to Toddler’s Tragic Death ‘Expressions of Pure Fear’

Corie Walsh, an Illinois resident with a troubling fixation on the Lindsay Clancy trial, stands accused of murdering her 2-year-old son. Prior to the alleged crime, she shared a series of unsettling photographs of her child on Facebook, including one particularly disturbing post.
Among the collection of photos are Christmas Eve images of her son Barrett—the child Walsh is accused of killing—where he appears visibly frightened next to his siblings, all dressed in matching pajamas.
In her caption, Walsh ominously stated, “PSA: There was no harming of [Barrett] while posing for photos, despite the look of sheer terror on his face.”
In another set of photos, Walsh expressed joy for Barrett’s birthday, affectionately referring to him as Bear in her post.
In the caption, Walsh reflected, “He’s grown leaps and bounds since becoming a big brother, yet he still rests his head on my shoulder when I carry him to bed, reminding me of how small he truly is.”
These affectionate posts align with the description provided by a former high school friend, who noted that Walsh was “beautiful, kind, intelligent, talented, and giving” during her teenage years.
As previously reported, prosecutors allege that Walsh had intentions of killing her husband upon his return home after she allegedly murdered her son.
Prosecutors revealed that Barrett’s body was found by two other children residing in the home, who then sought help from a neighbor.
Corie’s attorney, Andrea Lyon, asserts that she was experiencing a severe mental health crisis at the time of Barrett’s tragic death.
