What You Need to Know About Connections: Sports Edition
The NYT has introduced a new daily word game in collaboration with The Athletic, which provides the sports coverage for the publication. The sports-themed Connections can be accessed via web browsers and mobile devices, challenging players to group four words that share a commonality.

Each puzzle presents 16 words, which players must categorize into four distinct groups. The words can range from book titles to software names, country names, and beyond. While several words may appear to fit together, only one correct grouping exists.
When players correctly identify all four words in a set, those words disappear from the board. Erroneous guesses count as mistakes, with a maximum of four mistakes allowed before the game concludes.
