YouTube aims to empower creators by enhancing their understanding of account statuses, particularly regarding monetization. In line with this goal, the platform has introduced significant updates to the YouTube Studio display. These enhancements include a unified list of video-related issues, a new estimated revenue section, and advancements in report monitoring.
The first major update is the revamped Content tab within YouTube Studio. This section now features an organized compilation of all video alerts categorized into a dedicated Notices column.

YouTube’s new Notices column will replace the previous Monetization and Restriction columns. It will feature clear visual indicators of each video’s status:
- Red: This color signifies a complete restriction, such as when a video is blocked or ineligible for monetization.
- Yellow: This color indicates a partial restriction, which may involve limited ad revenue or age restrictions.
- Gray: This represents an informational notice that currently does not impose any immediate limitations.

Creators can hover over each notice to uncover the underlying cause and receive guidance on how to resolve the issue.
This functionality is designed to simplify the process of identifying and addressing errors, ensuring that creators can maximize their earnings from their content.
YouTube has introduced a new column dedicated to estimated revenue, providing a straightforward overview of earnings for each video.
YouTube has also launched a new Account Status page, which offers a comprehensive view of any critical issues affecting the channel. This includes monetization problems, copyright disputes, and community guideline strikes.

These updates are expected to enhance creators’ ability to identify potential issues that may hinder their account growth, ultimately saving valuable time in troubleshooting and correcting errors.
YouTube has confirmed that the new Account Status page is now accessible through the YouTube Studio app on both Android and iOS devices, although it has not yet been rolled out for the desktop version.
