Before his untimely death, Claude Lemieux designated hiswife to oversee his estate, as outlined in his last will and testament.
Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that the deceased NHL legend explicitly stated in his will that he wished for his wife, Deborah Lemieux, to serve as the administrator of his estate.
The legal documentation states that the estate will be distributed according to the provisions of a separate trust. Beneficiaries named in the trust include Deborah, their son Brendan, their daughter Claudia, and his grandson Luc along with his granddaughter Sutton.
Deborah’s petition does not specifically mention Claude’s two sons from his previous marriage, Michael and Christopher, as beneficiaries.
TMZ reported earlier that Claude tragically died by suicide in May at the age of 60. His son discovered his body in a family-owned warehouse, though it remains unclear which son found him. Christopher, Claudia, and Brendan each shared heartfelt tributes to their father on social media.
