Carole Radziwill Slams Ghislaine Maxwell as ‘Horrible Person’

Carole Radziwill is openly discussing her shock upon discovering her name linked to the Epstein files. She claims to have been completely unaware of the nefarious activities associated with her former friend and confidant of Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, whom she now characterizes as a “horrible person.”

During a recent interview with Bravo host Andy Cohen, Carole addressed her past connections with Maxwell while promoting the sixteenth season of RHONY. This conversation quickly turned into a focal point, especially given the controversies surrounding Maxwell.

Andy Cohen raised the topic of Carole’s anticipated return to RHONY, reflecting on her previous comments that her name’s appearance in the Epstein files provided her a chance to rejoin the show. Carole was a prominent cast member from 2012 until 2018.

In the discussion, Carole acknowledged that her name appears in the Epstein files as a friend of Maxwell, along with “many, many, many more people.” She stated that she does not avoid this subject because she feels it’s crucial to address.

She further expressed, “Clearly, I had no knowledge of the situation, as no one would have known anything two decades ago.” Nevertheless, Carole found it difficult to accept that Maxwell—whom she considered a “friend at one time”—was “a horrible, horrible person engaging in terrible actions.”

Carole admitted to feeling “really nervous” upon discovering her name in the Epstein files. She emphasized the reality that there are genuine victims and survivors who have bravely confronted these powerful individuals.

Authorities have alleged that Epstein and Maxwell orchestrated an international child sex trafficking operation. Epstein died by suicide in a federal facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on these serious charges. Maxwell was subsequently convicted of sex trafficking and related offenses in 2022, leading to a 20-year sentence in federal prison.

Earlier in March, Carole spoke about the Epstein-Maxwell situation during a New York Times interview. She shared that her acquaintance with Maxwell originated from their interactions in the same social circles in New York City. Carole clarified that her friendship with Maxwell concluded long before the full extent of Maxwell’s crimes became public knowledge. She also stated that she never had any association with Epstein.
