Camila Mendes’ little pooch has turned 3! The Riverdale star, who became a dog parent in 2019, is celebrating the birthday of her pet and has shared an adorable post on social media to announce the happy news.

The Maltipoo, named Truffle, has been living in the company of Mendes for the last three years, and the actor is seen sharing photos of her dog regularly on social media. Read on to see the photos of the adorable pooch.

Camila Mendes’s Dog Truffle Turns 3

On October 22, Mendes shared a number of sweet photos of her pet on social media to wish her a happy birthday. The first shot featured a black and white photo of the 28 year old actor with her canine as they both posed for the camera.

In another photo, the dog, who has an underbite condition, is seen wearing the tag ‘Birthday Girl’. Another photo features the furry pet licking Mendes’ face. “truffle turns 3 today 😭 happy birthday little angel,” she captioned the post.

Camila also organized a party for her pet’s birthday, the stills from which were shared on her Instagram stories. One of the stories showed a huge feast with a card that read ‘Happy Birthday Truffle’. In other photos’ Camila’s friends were seen holding the dog as they all celebrated her birthday together.

Celebrities Send Their Wishes

The post has gotten over a million likes till now. As soon as Camila shared the photos, her celebrity friends started wishing the pooch a happy birthday, while others looked concerned about her underbite.

Director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson wrote, “Happy birthday to a legend,” while actress Sarah Michelle commented, “Happy bday to the cutest underbite ever.” Designer Samantha McMillen also wrote, “Best underbite in the world,” and model Charli Howard penned, “The face that broke a thousand hearts 😍”

Fans also expressed their love for the pooch, with one writing, “time really flies. i still remember when you introduced her to us and she was a baby. happy birthday truffleeee 💖” and another commenting, “love you and your cute teeth, truffle. happy birthday ❤️”

Camila Spent her Time in Quarantine with Truffle

The actor introduced the dog to the world on Instagram in November 2019. She posted a video of Truffle playing in the field and wrote, “this is truffle. she’s a maltipoo rescue. and i am officially a dog mom. big shoutout to @thelabellefoundation for bringing this angel into my life.”

In March 2020, when the Covid pandemic had just hit, Camila revealed that she was spending her time in quarantine with her dog. She posted a photo of Truffle sleeping while holding a toy pig and captioned, “The amount of Truffle content I‘d be showering you with if it weren’t for my wiser self fighting the impulse with every ounce of my being.”
